10 Apr 2021: Spring is here with lots of buds and a few blooms. It will take about a week to have all the flowers open, except for the white little flowers in the yard. They grow like crazy. I got most of them mowed down today but in about two days, they will be back. For almost a week, the wind has been blowing like mad all day long so that prevents any drone flying. Oh well, that makes me do more work around the house. Even though I freeze with that damn wind blowing, things are getting done.

05 Apr 2021: Do I feel older? No, but I move slower. Getting old is hell and I'm feeling it. In my mind, I am still around 39 or so but my body argues with me every day about that. I just can not seem to win that argument. I still enjoy the outdoors and always look forward to heading to the hills to cut firewood and/or hunting. I have about 5 months to wait for hunting season to open up. Always something to look forward to.

24 Mar 2021: Mostly cloudy day but with some wind. Took off and went fishing up the Winchuck River. Not too successful but enjoyable all the same. Used spinners, eggs and worms and not one bite. At least I took the drone with me and tested it over the water. A few times the GPS acted up and one time apparently I hit the return to home button and I was in the way and it attacked me. Luckily I had on heavy denim pants or it would of sliced me up bad. I still have marks on my legs where the props tried to eat me alive. All in all, it was a good day. We had some sprinkles around 4 pm. Looks like its sprinkling again at 9:30 pm. It suppose to stop soon and tomorrow will be a rainless day.

20 Mar 2021: First day of spring and it is raining with wind. Not drone flying weather. Can you tell, I am into my drone flying? It is something new and I can not wait to take it to the beach and into the redwoods to get some different types of images. It should be fun. Hopefully I will not make a submarine out of it at the beach or do a head on in the redwoods. Time will tell. Maybe that is why I have two of them?

First Day of Spring.

My drone in flight.
